Description
LifeGuard Safety Hose Technology’s Safety Shut Off System. The hydrogen industry’s only hose and coupling system that instantly and automatically shuts off the flow of fluids in both directions.
Vacuum Jacketed Design:
The hoses are vacuum jacketed, providing crucial insulation to maintain the low temperatures required for liquid hydrogen and helium transfer.
Internal Shutoff System:
A key safety feature is the internal shutoff system, which includes a patented and patent-pending compression spring system with two non-return valves within each fitting.
Emergency Separation Protection:
In the event of a hose separation, the internal valves engage, stopping flow at both ends of the hose and preventing product loss.
Low Temperature Compatibility:
The hoses are designed to handle the extremely low temperatures associated with liquid hydrogen, specifically -252.9°C.
Industrial Applications:
These hoses are suitable for various industries requiring the transfer of liquid hydrogen and helium, including heavy-duty transportation, aviation, and maritime.
High-Pressure Capabilities:
LifeGuard Technologies also offers an ultra-high-pressure ETFE hose assembly, capable of withstanding 8000 psi and bursting at 24,000 psi, for use with hydrogen and helium.
