PBDE and Metabolites, BFRs & PFRs Standard
Certified Reference Standard for research on flame retardants.
AccuStandard
Description
Brominated flame retardants (BFRs) are synthetic compounds widely used in commercial products such as textiles, building materials, and electrical equipment. Among them, polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) are of particular concern due to their ability to bioaccumulate and their potential links to health risks, including endocrine disruption and cancer. As a result, research into these substances is critical. AccuStandard offers a broad selection of single-component reference standards for the targeted identification of flame retardants, including fluorinated PBDEs, phosphorus flame retardants (PFRs), bromophenols, and polychlorinated diphenyl ethers (PCDEs). Multi-component mixtures are also available, optimized for use with established test methods such as USEPA 527, 1614, ISO/DIS 22032, and EN 16692.
