Description
The SCAT GreenLine venting valve enables controlled, filtered pressure equalization in hermetically sealed eluent and solvent containers in HPLC laboratories. During solvent withdrawal by the HPLC system, the resulting vacuum reliably opens the valve and allows filtered air to enter the system. As part of the GreenLine, the venting valve represents a fluorine-free, future-proof solution and is ideal for PFAS-sensitive applications as well as laboratories with increased requirements for sustainability and regulatory compliance. The integrated glass fiber-reinforced membrane replaces conventional PTFE membranes and ensures reliable filtration with high chemical resistance. This supports a consistent liquid flow, stable analytical conditions, and reproducible results. At the same time, the venting valve helps reduce solvent vapors and improves laboratory safety. The recommended service life is 6 months.
