The experience gained from IT TECH since 1996 has given high skills of comprehension in laboratories processes to the company. IT TECH and Bicasa offers complete and advanced know-how to support customer operative requirements.
Planning and Execution
During the project planning phaseeach individual element is analysed in relation to existing rooms and intendeduse. The development of CAD 2D - 3D drawings and rendering presentations makethe customer able to define single details of execution.

On Site Management
Really often projects require integration with existing or in process architectural works. IT TECH offers a complete synergy work with architects and construction firms, achieving a perfect integrated performance.
Laboratory Benches
Certifications and Testing
Laboratory benches are certified according to EN 13150, European standard concerning “Working benches for laboratories: Dimensions, safety requirements and test methods”. Laboratory benches are certified according to BGR234/09.06 German standard, concerning workplace safety for storage devices. The load capacity tested and certified is up to 400 kgs uniformly distributed, for all workstation types.

Laboratory Planning
A modern lab requires highly adaptable systems able to provide integration with hi-tech equipment, making possible for end-users to operate in an ergonomic and functional workplace. MECC furniture system is designed to rationalize spaces, to distribute supply lines and to place service outlets or accessories on the most comfortable position. Through the variable combination of each element, it is possible to arrange the configuration required.
Materials and Quality
Aluminum profiles, used to design service spine vertical uprights, ensure a stronger structural rigidity thanks to the higher mechanical precision of the assembly and reduce the overall weight of MECC benches. Aluminium, a recyclable material, improves significantly the resistance to corrosion, even in case of abrasion of the polyurethane powder coating.

Technical Module
Bench service spine is designed to accept service outlets and supply lines distribution, placed in a protected and hidden compartment with an overall depth of 150 mm. Side uprights make bench able to be arranged with variable vertical combinations and install overhead cabinets or shelves, in order to best rationalize space use. Modular elements can be horizontally connected to reach the dimension required.
Service Outlet Panels
Technical panels are designed to provide a functional distribution of service outlets, easy to be upgraded and changed. The horizontal combination of modular panels can be also vertically extended with additional service levels, in order to install a great number of service outlets. Panels are made of corrosion resistant molded plastic and can accept any kind of service outlet, built-in cup sink unit included.
Dockwall Partition System
Lab Partition System
The partition system is designed in compliance with the requirements of laboratory use, applying dedicated solutions with materials suitable for the intended use. Supply lines distribution and service outlets arrangement are fully integrated in a close compartment, with an access panel - removable even if the workstation is installed. The aluminum vertical uprights, provided with a rail for suspended accessories, are ready to accept height adjustable shelves and/ overhead cabinets.

New Concept
Masonry walls have structural limits due to supply lines or service outlets installation. The laboratory partition system makes possible to integrate every element required, with a modular frame easy to be rearranged and fully accessible for maintenance.
Supply Beams and Workstations
Ergonomics
A modern lab must provide maximum integration among man, technology and environment. Easy installation,-flexibility, quality and safety are the essential guidelines leading Bicasa to the innovative design of IKARO, the functional supply system, and KOMPATTO, the dynamic furnishing system.
Technological Innovation
Process automation, combined with advanced operative methods, draws new guidelines of laboratory design, suitable for work-ow and instrumentation requirements. IKARO suspended supply system and KOMPATTO mobile workstation provide a perfect integration with the most advanced technologies with a complete -flexibility in use.

Supply Beams/ Utility Columns
IKARO deletes forever the typical limits of traditional lab design. Built-in technologies applied to a suspended supply system simplify and optimize design, installation and testing phases of modern lab.

Dynamic System
IKARO supply beam gives a wide range of arrangements available to accommodate project and users’ requirements: starting from FULL configuration, the completely integrated solution, running to SMART, the slim type with small dimensions, ending to WALL, the wall mounted arrangement.
Modular Design Concept
IKARO has been designed as a modular system with the full integration of all components. The supply beam frame is composed of modular units that can be combined to the length required. Accessories and service outlet panels can be placed in the preferred position, easy to be changed or completed at any time.
Installation Flexibility
IKARO supply beam has been designed to be installed in any existing condition. Vertical uprights can be anchored to ceiling or to -floor using dedicated fixing plates that provide an easy and quick installation.

Service Columns
New Concept
COLUMNIA is the innovative laboratory supply system designed for functional and flexible point-of-use distribution with integrated piping and wiring. Suspended to media ceiling or to the concrete ceiling, the vertical column is best solution for projects requiring space as main task.
Factory Tested
COLUMNIA is designed to be factory assembled, testing the final configuration before the delivery with the pre-arranged pipes and wirings ready to be connected on site. Factory-tested process makes possible to decrease the duration of installation and commissioning phases with a relevant cost saving.
Design and Safety
The construction with a slim size and rounded shapes, including the HStrip panels ready to accept laboratory services, are the distinctives features of the vertical service column. Fast coupling system with snap-fit joints makes easier maintenance and reconfiguration after the installation. The access to the dedicated fittings compartment can be easily done both on the front and the back side of the column, removing single HStrip panels.

High-Tech Solutions
Framework is fully manufactured in aluminium - 100% recyclable material - consisting of Bicasa custom-made extruded proles. The choice of such a material makes possible to decrease the weight drastically. The frame of the vertical column, designed to accept dedicated accessories, can be arranged with a huge quantity of service outlets, thanks to the HStrip horizontal panels easy to be customized as per the requirements.
Laboratory Cabinets
Materials Storage
Cupboards and underbench cabinets are designed for material storage. A wide range of choices allows to dene customized arrangements, supplied with doors, drawers, glass panels and hinged or sliding opening. Elements can be added with horizontal and vertical integration, with optional rails and ladders to reach high placed shelves.

EN 16121 Certification
Underbench cabinets and cupboard are certified according to EN-16121, European standard concerning “Non-domestic storage furniture - Requirements for safety, strength, durability and stability”.
Colors Range
Cabinet carcass and top are manufactured in light grey colour. Front panels of doors and drawers can be customized as per end-user preferences. The wide range of colours available includes maroon, charcoal grey, blue and light grey.
Materials Quality
Cabinet carcass and front are made of resin-bonded particleboard panels, reproof type class B-s1, d0 according to EN13501-1. Bicasa works only with ecological panels, made of recycled wood. Steel cabinet fabrication is available on request. Each door or drawer is equipped with aluminum handle, easy to clean. Height-adjustable shelves and cabinet base are made of epoxy coated steel. Under bench cabinets are provided with swivel casters including front brake system.
Drawers
Drawers are assembled with steel sides height of 85 mm. The sliding system supplied ensures self-closing and load capacity up to 30 kgs. All drawer cabinets are provided with central lock and tilting-proof device. Extension sides, soft-close system and fast removing device of frontal panel are available on request.
