Description
The SCAT Green Line Safety Cap I, GL45 is a hermetically sealing, fluorine-free safety cap for the safe HPLC solvent supply on laboratory bottles with GL45 thread. The high-quality PEEK core replaces the commonly used PTFE core and makes the cap completely free of fluoropolymers. This makes it particularly suitable for PFAS-sensitive applications as well as laboratories with increased requirements for sustainability and regulatory safety. One capillary connection enables the clean routing of the solvent line directly to the HPLC system. The integrated ventilation valve opens under negative pressure and ensures a controlled, filtered air supply into the bottle. This reduces solvent vapors, improves occupational safety and at the same time supports stable and PFAS-sensitive laboratory processes in analytics, chemistry and pharmaceuticals.
